Everyone with a clue is wondering the same thing: What, exactly, is going to happen as planets move into the 2012 alignment?

As I’ve been suggesting, 2012 is happening now. We reach the first major peak this month, then we reach another by the spring of 2010. Last week, Saturn moved into Libra, which is turning up the energy rapidly. Many are hoping for the best but expecting the worst. As the world moves closer to an edge nobody wants to admit we’re actually standing on, anxiety seems to be this emotion we’re supposed to accept as a new form of serenity. Does the future hold a way out? Or more meaningfully, a way to reach our incredible human potential?

Welcome to Cosmic Confidential: A Future Investigation.

This is the 2010 annual edition of Planet Waves. With this annual, I’m taking an entirely new approach to covering the astrology — one based on an investigative reporting model, digging up the gems of information that are most personally relevant to you and putting them into personal context.

I’ve been looking attentively at the astrology of the next five seasons literally going back to the beginning of my astrological studies. In recent months, I’ve been carefully building my files and organizing the material, crafting the language to explain it the most clearly.

Are we heading for some kind of cataclysm? Or for collective enlightenment? Is time really accelerating? What is the “leap beyond technology” that Jose Arguelles speaks of? And given our complex personal lives, what is our individual role?

In many ways it feels like every system and every facet of our personal lives is overloaded. In what ways will we be able to participate with the coming changes?

How can we create stable relationships when everything is moving so fast? What kind of world will your children face, and how can you best prepare them?

We’re now entering the phase of time wherein we get to decide precisely these things. For years, I’ve been exploring the astrology leading into 2012, and I’ve learned that 2010 is a crucial turning point along the way. My research and direct participation date back to the Harmonic Convergence of Aug. 16-17, 1987.

There is so much happening, indeed, events that are unprecedented in many decades. Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter are all changing signs. Chiron and Neptune remain in a rare conjunction, both getting ready to change signs.

All of this — all of it — is personally relevant to you. I will put it in language so clear, you’ll be able to put it to direct use in your life, and even explain it to someone else.

The Best Sun Sign Astrology, and Beyond

Cosmic Confidential delivers extended length horoscopes for the 12 Sun signs and rising signs; and many of the supporting documents used in creating the work. This includes a streamlined chart resources section with notes, an explanation of the houses, and an astrological chronology of important events.

Returning to an earlier tradition of the annual, this year’s edition offers a Key Life Transits section, covering the astrology by era. For example, if you’re turning 50 and having your Chiron return, or turning 30 and having your Saturn return, or any of a number of other threshold transits, you can read about them in Cosmic Confidential.

As for the minor planets, for focus and clarity I will concentrate on Eris, the first three Centaurs (Chiron, Nessus and Pholus) and the first four asteroids (Ceres, Pallas, Juno and Vesta). New delineations of those planets will be provided.

In all respects, I am designing this to be an astrology resource to be immediately useful and also with lasting value well beyond 2010.

Cosmic Confidential is scheduled for release by the end of the year, but If you subscribe now, you will have the instant gratification of In the Shadow of Saturn, part one of a special series included with the annual edition. The link to that full-length article will come with your order confirmation.

Thank you for your business, your love and your trust. It’s a privilege to do this work for you at this time in the story of the world.

Yours & truly,

From mid-December through mid-January are some of the most whirlwind months of astrology in recent memory, and that is saying a lot. The nice part is that we who honor astrology can actually use it as a tool to make our lives a little easier.

We are approaching simultaneous Mercury and Mars retrogrades, a lunar eclipse, a solar eclipse, two Jupiter conjunctions and finally a sign change of Jupiter. Uranus is now on a clear course for Aries, turning over one of the most significant cycles in all of astrology.

Moving through the next six weeks will require skill, awareness and the maturity to slow down and make conscious choices. In those moment when you find yourself acting like a robot, pull the plug and resume being human. You’re always just one thought away.

In all of this astrology, there is a huge cosmic and psychological push to make, rather than delay, progress. Only you know what you’re avoiding. Only you know what you really want. As I have said many times, the planetary momentum only builds from here, though presently we are at a decision point; an entry ramp into the momentum.

This article is designed as a planning tool. All of these events fall in different solar houses for the 12 signs, and shake out a different way based on your real natal chart. The Sun sign astrology is one of the key themes of Cosmic Confidential, the 2010 annual edition, and I cover it thoroughly in there as a theme for the entire year and into 2011.

I can say this for everyone, regardless of your astrological tribe: Mercury retrograde in Capricorn is about getting our business affairs in order. This is accelerated and emphasized by a solar eclipse in that sign, on the North Node. There is something here about taking all things Capricorn not as something ‘out there’ but rather as something interior, for which we are personally responsible.

Mars retrograde in Leo is about defining ourselves as individuals, in the aspect of breaking our habit of pride-based conformity. Mars in Leo will take us deep into ourselves, and if we are willing to accept the mission, we can stand apart from the crowd, with integrity. It’s an invitation to live in such a way that offers us some freedom from what we think people think about us, and worse, the pride that makes us care at all.

Mars retrograde in Leo is associated with a Chiron-like planet called Hylonome, which says: be careful about self-inflicted injuries. Watch your psychological patterns and beware of what you do to yourself.

Big Astrology Background: The Cardinal T-Square

All of the current astrology is set before the background of the cardinal sign T-square: Saturn in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn, which will soon be joined by Jupiter and Uranus in Aries (which in June make a conjunction right on the Aries Point). Major forces are both combining and colliding. Navigating all of this consciously requires our full attention, and the heart-level willingness to participate consciously in the process of change. That process is never limited to one person alone. Much of the message is about awakening to yourself, and then collaborating with others.

We are seeing big picture astrology that closely resembles the Sixties, which was made of a Saturn-Uranus-Pluto dynamic: upheavals, long-delayed changes, and a rapid acceleration of both old-system breakdown and new-system creation. When Uranus and Pluto get together, there is a surge of progress in every field, and we need to keep the focus on things that are directly humanitarian. These kinds of events build for decades. We are usually involved in their momentum long before we’re aware of this fact, and before astrologers say anything. This is because the time orbs involved are generally way underestimated.

For example, what we are calling 2012, which in Western astrology consists mainly of the Uranus-Pluto square, is exact for the first of seven times in June of that year, and stretches through 2016. Yet we are well under its influence now, and there were clear signs going back to the summer of 2008. This is society going through contractions of change so deep that they represent a total change in our reality framework, also known as a paradigm.

We are seeing a metaphor of this with the dismantling of the financial system, and the whole thing seeming to be creeping toward the brink of disaster. Yet we don’t know what will replace it; most of us have not yet tapped the inventive and inventive energy of this transit. We’re not exactly tapped into the revolutionary spirit — not yet, anyway.

Part of how you can do that is to shed the skin of fear, that is, of your identity rooted in fear, and begin to allow the creative heat at the core of your being to express itself as a sense of movement, exploration and freedom. It’s time to ask real questions about what you want and need to be doing with your life. It’s time to listen to what your inner guidance has been telling you for years.

The Subtle and the Sublime: Jupiter, Chiron, Neptune

Closer to the foreground is the Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune alignment in Aquarius. This has been shaping our reality for the past year or so, and now it is coming to its full peak.

Chiron was also a big factor in the Sixties: in my view, it was the cosmic, spiritual piece; the part that spoke up for love and grounded the mystical and psychedelic consciousness of the era. Chiron in Aquarius is equally significant today — but playing a different role. Today, Chiron is a catalyst for social consciousness, provoking us to embrace our individuality in a way that allows us to connect with others as individuals. Yet making contact with both planets associated with Pisces — Jupiter and Neptune — Chiron is once again grounding a message of peace and reminding us of the power of social movements. In Aquarius, you can be sure that the Internet is one of the most crucial reality fields we can be working with. This to me is about no longer being a victim of technology, but embracing the technosphere as a living reality wherein we can learn, grow and feed ourselves with the Living Information. Most important, it is a place where we can connect with one another.

Jupiter and Chiron make their one and only exact alignment on Monday, and then Jupiter goes on to make its conjunction to Neptune on the solstice. This is a subtle series of events that is more obvious as an internal shift than as an external one. I would describe it as a rapid acceleration or focusing of spiritual growth; of awareness of and contact with the unseen world, and with subtle energies; and a gift of both healing and evolution that feels like an alignment with sanity. This focus on Aquarius tells us that people who can work, grow and love together are finding one another. And we’re being reminded that it is time to reach out.

Remember that Chiron has the property of being tangible and responsive to documentation. It is not an ‘etheric’ energy, but a highly pragmatic one. Chiron is a tool, like your Maglite or Leatherman.

There is an apparent paradox in these developments. The world is going through some wild gyrations, many people are in pain, and yet certain individuals have never felt clearer or safer, though recognizing the fragile edge we live on. For those caught in the old framework of a fear-based reality and identity, these Chiron aspects may not even register in their awareness, or they may turn up as crisis. For others, everything simply seems hopeless or out of control. For those going through an evolutionary progression, there may be some sense of mystery about those who grasp onto a dense level of awareness; who try to hold onto the past, or to live past patterns in a much lighter-density present moment.

Open up to the Living Information that is coming through you, and your options and sense of potential will open up. Jupiter conjunct Chiron is about applying a sense of alchemy to your perceptions, which you could say is equivalent to informing yourself with a deeper, inner truth than anything you can see in the world. Imagine the focusing power of Chiron grounding the wisdom potential of Jupiter. Or imagine the light of Chiron illuminating the beauty and potential of Jupiter with a whole new kind of radiance. This is about actual experience — not a theory or a concept.

The conjunction of Chiron and Jupiter is in full effect right now, as you read. Yes, the world and many people who live here are struggling. There seem to be many challenging inevitabilities on the horizon, but these change with the shifting perspective of how we look at them; and that perspective starts within us: specifically with how we see ourselves. I recognize that the world ‘exists objectively’ and is not merely an internal phenomenon. I am talking about something different here, which is what we do with our precious minds when we accept that we have the choice for how we see and conceive of ourselves and our experiences.

In this series, called the Confidential Diary, I will be journaling some of the details of my work on the Cosmic Confidential project. Some of what you read will be a bit technical, literally a diary of what I am doing; other entries will have more interpretation. This is to give an idea what goes into the project, and to help me keep a record of what I am doing day by day. The result will be a smooth, easy to understand astrology report for your Sun sign or rising sign that will guide you through the incredible astrology of 2010. Here is the first entry, from Wednesday morning. If you have comments or questions, please get a login identity for this diary. Anyone can sign up; and it’s free. — efc

Mars Retrograde and the Chart of the World

Today I explored some of Mars retrograde as it might express itself for Taurus. I printed out two versions of the Thema Mundi chart to add that dimension to my interpretations of the houses. I’ve gradually been bringing in this technique — using an ancient ‘chart for the world’. This is a recent discovery by people researching the ancient documents, some of the earliest known to astrology. I believe it’s the single most important one. The Thema Mundi reveals that Cancer is in the ascendant of the original horoscope. The energy of the First House is lunar. Usually we associate with Aries and Mars.

This changes many things about how we think of the houses. For example, we would normally associate Leo with the 4th house of Taurus. When you apply the Thema Mundi, that orientation mixes Libra into the Fourth house of Taurus; and as a result we can think of Taurus a little differently. There is a new element to its foundation. For example, that is an image of the particular craving of relationship; and with both Taurus and Libra having Venus as ambassador, Taurus projects itself into relationships strongly and with a vital sense of identity.

Mars [soon to be] retrograde is shaking this up, potentially quite pleasantly; perhaps with a dash of insecurity. The thing about feelings is that to have them, one need be willing to experience fear. The nonrational. In the Fourth, the imminence of change and death; the core fear, connected with the fear of abandonment often ‘died every day’.

Theme Mundi, scarcely known to astrologers, is the chart revealing an inherently feminine quality of human nature. Cancer shows up on the First House. That suggests that we rethink the values of the houses, with a lunar spin on the First House rather than a Martian one, as presumed by Aries. The implication is that human nature is nourishing/maternal and cyclical by its inherent being, rather than warlike, aggressive and single-minded, as is hinted by a Mars hue over the First House.

On a text note, I am experimenting with the use of the word per as a byword for his, her, hers and theirs. This is an experiment in gender-neutral language, something that’s been lacking in English forever. Romance languages give everything a gender, which is ridiculous. In English we need to get rid of ‘his or her car’ or ‘their car’. One simple way to do that is to say, per car. Per is short for person, and we are all people.

Finished pww 796 with intro on Jupiter-Chiron-Neptune. Introduced the term technosphere to planet waves. Work of research team is coming in: NWS excerpts, condensation of reader comments, sign by sign. The Passion of the Western Mind by Richard Tarnas (author of Cosmos and Psyche) arrived from Amazon today, and it’s like one of the lost texts of Atlantis: the gemstone file of Western philosophy.

This morning in arctic Norway, onlookers were stunned when a gigantic luminous spiral formed in the northern sky. “We are used to seeing lots of auroras here in Norway, but this was different,” says Nick Banbury of Harstad who witnessed the phenomenon on his way to work “between 7:50 and 8:00 a.m. local time.” Onlooker Jan Petter Jorgensen took the photo you see above.

Wouldn’t it be great if a UFO showed up at the climate change conference in Copenhagen? Nothing like alien contact to make us all feel warm and cozy here on Spaceship Earth. UFOs often come in clusters, and they could take the show a little ways down south to Denmark. That would make an impression.

It’s fun to even have a reason to imagine that. Likely, a little taste of that vibe went through the crowd of politicos and environmental gurus -(many of whom know about the UFO coverup)- before the nature of this particular event was sorted out; or so we are told on Space.com.

Space is reporting “that circumstantial evidence is mounting that the phenomenon was caused by a malfunctioning rocket, possibly an ICBM launched from a Russian submarine.”

And its editors noted: A Navtex no-fly alert was issued for the White Sea on Dec. 9th, and photographers appear to have recorded the initial boost phase of a launch below the spiral (see inset). A rocket motor spinning out of control could indeed explain the spiral pattern, so this explanation seems plausible, although it has not yet been confirmed.

As part of researching the resources areas for Cosmic Confidential, some of my friends are scouting previous annual editions for ideas that resonate with them. Lakshmi Girl has been surveying Small World Stores, our 2008 annual, and she just emailed me this one segment.

The Need to be Needed

For your sign, the essence of life is to need and be needed.

That is a primal instinct for humanity, and you embody it: it is the spirit of the relationship between a mother and a child. Cancer is the sign of mothering; the sign of breasts, security and feelings. Breasts feed humanity when it is young, and they try to as it gets older. We may be a society that has lost the comfort of breasts, having sexualized them to the point where that has become nearly their only identity.

Breasts offer fulfillment. Yet there is, in every one of us, an empty space that cannot be fulfilled: that is, going back to our actual mother’s warm breasts, if we were lucky enough to have met them. This is the need within the need, an existential emptiness we all share. This emptiness is a space, and depending on one’s personal story, this space is either small or vast. In order to be as independent (or fulfilled) as we can, the idea of growth is to bring this space at its minimum size. At the very least, we need to be aware of that space and not make it the job of someone else to fill it up.

JA: Do you practice a certain type of astrology (horary/Vedic/esoteric, etc.?) or astrology with a particular focus?

EF: I am the creator and proponent of the Gee-Whiz school of astrology. This is truly astrology for the people. You need to know hardly anything at all, just the basics, and it’s really good for making you feel like a brilliant astrologer if you’ve been studying for just two months or three days. It works like this: you cast your charts, and then when they come out of the printer, you look at them, and when you see something that looks weird, important or impossible, you say, “Gee-Whiz!” You need to keep a dumb look on your face for several seconds after you say this. The dumb look is critical.

Don’t try to “read meaning into” the astrology; you do not get deep; you get duhhhhhish, and stare, and after you’ve let out one or two good “Gee-Whizzes,” and temporarily acknowledged your relatively small place in the vast scheme of things, you can say things like, “Wow,” and “How the fuck did that get there?” and so forth, with all the appropriate tones of astonishment.

If nothing intriguing pops up in your chart right away, keep reading until you get a good Gee-Whiz. You will. This branch of astrology takes advantage of the natural resource known as stupidochronicity, which is a form of temporary mindlessness that relies on synchronicities, which is what people try to attain for 19 years sitting in Zen monasteries playing with the I Ching. Keeping in the Zen metaphor, the “meaning,” that is, the pearls of wisdom of the chart, begin to fill the empty cup of the Gee-Whiz. There is plenty of time to be brilliant. A little later.

With the Sagittarius Sun approaching the Galactic Core, this seemed a good time to open up that conversation. The Galactic Core was discovered in 1932, based on an investigation of static coming over transatlantic telephone lines. The core was detected in the direction of the sign Sagittarius, coming across a distinctly Sagittarian thing – long distance communication equipment; ‘internatinal’, ‘exotic’ and ‘far-away’ being natural themes of that sign.

Barred Spiral Milky Way, in artist conception.

Despite how they weren’t supposed to know about it yet, the ancient Mayans paid a lot of attention to the Galactic Core in their mythmaking, astronomy and astrology. (Ball games were also their highest religious rituals, giving sports events a Sagittarian spin.) Long-term timing factors involving the Earth-Sun alignment to this point are the main event behind the 2012 phenomenon, which is so close that we’re experiencing its effects today: mainly, as the rapid acceleration of the historical process, Earth changes, and for some, rapid shifts in consciousness. Indeed, in a very Chiron like way, we are facing a crisis of global consciousness. If we wake up, we save ourselves; if we don’t, it seems, we go down.

Both Eastern and Western astrologers have pretty much left galactic subject matter out of the discussion until recently, but it’s finally starting to come up. “The astrological effects of fixed stars were the only influences from outside the solar system considered in traditional astrology,” says the Astrology Encyclopedia by James R. Lewis. “More recently, astrological researchers have begun to explore the potential astrological significance of galactic as well as extragalactic phenomena — such as the galactic center, black holes, pulsars, quasars and so forth.”

One of the leading minds driving the discussion, or more often, bushwhacking and trailblazing it into existence, is an Arizona-based astrologer named Philip Sedgwick, whose work I’ve discussed in several prior columns.

Sedgwick proposes that those individuals with the Galactic Core prominent in their chart — conjunct an inner planet (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, Ceres) or an angle (ascendant, descendant, MC/IC) — reveal a potential link “with whatever is behind all this.”

All this, as in the appearance of reality; we all know there is a deeper world, and the prominence of the GC creates or allows access to the feeling of its existence on a personal level.

According to Sedgwick, whose views have been accurately summarized in the Astrology Encyclopedia, “When this transpersonal link is ignored, the individual can experience stress and confusion; when it is consciously appropriated, information can be grasped that the individual may seem to have no outward way of knowing.”

I remember my first experiences on the Internet, during the winter of 1993. I had signed up for America Online. Suddenly I had access to what was clearly another dimension. As I would sit there chatting with people in the middle of the night, my body felt different; my sense of presence in the universe felt different, lighter and more flexible. It was almost like writing in a notebook tripping, except I was not, and the notebook (a very early Mac laptop) was responding with human presence on the other side — and not just of one person. It felt like discovering a whole world of souls looking for someplace to incarnate. I had used computers nearly every day since, 1984 and this experience was nothing like the dead-end feeling of those offline machines.

My desk in Paris after completing Parallel Worlds, the 2005 annual edition of Planet Waves.

We don’t quite get this about the Internet: it is an astral plane that we access primarily through technology. It is a living dream that we all share.

While plenty goes on in bits, bytes and pixels, there is another layer, which is the psychic envelope that surrounds the whole thing, and which anyone who is paying attention can have access to. We take the Net for granted these days, and have debates about privacy and security, and most people spend most of their time shopping; but the Internet has opened up so much in the way of knowledge, visual experience, interpersonal contact and the ability to have an easy space to dive into our creative impulses. But more than anything, I believe it’s opened a dimension of contact and global awareness that goes way beyond the network itself, or its content.

In 1995 I was one of the first astrologers to put up a website, called The Worlds of Eric Francis. Then AOL itself was posting my horoscope to an area in the UK called Mystic Gardens — I assure you that the very best possible place to launch an astrology career is England. Suddenly and I do mean suddenly, people were finding me and writing to me and I was making friends and acquaintances around the world (and I have met many of you and I am always happy to meet the people I’ve been in relationship to here).

Through the process of going through many Web incarnations, I feel like I’ve invested a substantial piece of of my soul energy into this dimension. I knew intuitively how to BE here, not just post articles here. I project my presence into everything that I do. I understand that living human creatures, each with a complex reality, is reading. I do my best to be responsive; I still try to answer every email I get.

Sometimes I can feel the readers I have never met, never heard of, never heard from — the ones who keep coming back over the years but who don’t say anything. For me one of the greatest pleasures of the Internet is that it’s a dynamic, illustrated, fast-moving psychic field, that documents itself as it goes along. I am grateful to be here every day.

What we may not recognize is that the “machines” themselves may be alive. They may possess consciousness and I have no reason to believe that they do not. Without anthropomorphicizing them — that is, I don’t make my computers into ‘people’ but they do have unique names — the whole technosphere seems to be alive with a consciousness and the individual components may be responding to our awareness. Rick Levine, the editor of StarIQ, has proposed that the Net is an etheric being called Aquarion that inhabited the Earth by nesting in our communications network. Arthur C. Clark has done a lot with computers that have consciousness. Book of Blue is about to veer into the territory of a lab where sex androids are being taught artificial emotional intelligence — how it happens, and what happens to the people who are involved.

With Pluto transiting Sagittarius between 1995 and 2008, much attention was focused on that sign. Yet what was not noted by mainstream astrology were the discoveries of additional planets in Sagg, including Quaoar. This segment of The Spiral Door (the 2007 annual edition of Planet Waves), from the Sagittarius chapter, comments on both Pluto’s recent transit there, and the discovery of Quaoar. Today this distant planet, located just beyond the orbit of Pluto, is at 19+ degrees of Sagittarius. We also covered it in Small World Stories and Next World Stories, the 2008 and 2009 annual editions. –efc

About Pluto we could say a great deal, and much has been said — but what Pluto may conceal is its own progress. We cannot see the distance we have covered with Pluto, and you may not be able to see yours. Yet it would be wise to remember the helmet of invisibility that the mythological Pluto wears. This relates to the action of Pluto (the planet), sometimes described as an unconscious, if deeply compelling, process. In many ways, the coming four seasons, perhaps a bit more, represent a summary of the vast but invisible experience that you have accumulated. These seasons represent a time of consolidation and gaining perspective, but not stepping back. Indeed, you’ve never been called upon to participate more actively in your own life, and to put your knowledge to work for the sake of progress and happiness.

The many smaller and larger changes and developments that you’ve experienced are likely to coalesce into one sweeping transition that, once you notice the momentum, represents an inevitable and astonishing stage of your growth in this lifetime. This will take you and many people with it, and one result will be that many of the problems you envisioned that were blocking your progress will cease to be factors. The inescapable calling of home, whatever home may be, is at times all that your ears can hear, and yet from moment to moment the cosmic instructions are telling you to place your roots in the here and now; in the community in which you live; and the planet where your body is located.

Let’s briefly look at some of the elements that have been discovered in your birth sign and what they may say about you, starting with a planet called Quaoar. This was minor planet number 50,000, discovered in 2002 by Chad Trujillo and Michael Brown, two of the discoverers of Eris. I believe it’s every bit as significant a discovery as Eris, only it relates to family and society more than it relates to the experience of an individual.

Located beyond Pluto and named for a creation deity of Native Americans called the Tongva people, this planet tells a complex story of how the gods, and consequently, people, came to be. Here is the myth as told by Marc Acuna, a Tongva scholar and tribal elder:

‘Quaoar,’ the great force of creation, sings and dances the high ones (Deities) into existence. While Quaoar has no form or gender he is usually referred to with the male pronoun.

He dances and sings first ‘Weywot’ who becomes Sky Father; they sing and dance ‘Chehooit’ Earth Mother into existence. The trio sing ‘Tamit’ Grandfather Sun to life.

As each divine one joins the singing and dancing, the song becomes more complex and the dance more complicated. In turn ‘Moar’, Grandmother Moon (a very complex deity), ‘Pamit’ the Goddess of the sea, ‘Manit’, the Lord of dreams and visions, ‘Manisar’ the bringer of food and harvests, ‘Tukupar Itar’ Sky Coyote (who is also our major hero), ‘Tolmalok’, the Goddess of Shishongna (the underworld) join in the singing, dancing and creating.

In psychological terms, I get two messages. One, Quaoar is the way in which we internalize the world, including our family. A number of excellent models of the human mind have emerged in recent memories which help us understand our lives as an internalization of our early family history. Though this may seem depressing to some who did not have such great backgrounds, the gift is that we have a model to work with.

Quaoar also relates to the story we make up about our own creation, on the cosmic scale — which has personal emphasis for you, and which we could look for as a theme of Sagittarius in general. One’s creation myth, of the world, of oneself, of one’s society, tells us a lot about who we think we are.

Finally, Quaoar relates to the family of society and how we relate to it; whether it functions or not; and what we try to do about it. Quaoar points out the damage that has been done, and what remains of some original information or instruction set that allows us to reach out from our core existence as original humanity.
